Nannon Roosa

Nannon Roosa, a seasoned Strategic Business Leader and Entrepreneur, excels at navigating complex challenges and driving growth, particularly in bioscience technologies. With a proven track record in innovation, she has successfully brought numerous ideas to market.
As a consultant, Nannon leverages her extensive experience to empower businesses. She also actively contributes to Arizona’s entrepreneurial ecosystem through roles with the University of Arizona Tech Launch Commercialization Partner, University of Arizona Center for Innovation (UACI) contributor, BIOSA Board member, Southern Arizona Leadership Council (SALC) member, and as a Flinn Foundation Arizona Bioscience Roadmap Steering Committee member and Bioscience Entrepreneurship Program mentor. These roles have cultivated strong statewide connections, providing clients with access to a broad network of resources, expertise, and potential partners.
Previously, as President and Co-Founder of CATS Tonometer, Nannon secured FDA clearance for three ophthalmic medical devices, achieving national distribution for two. Her expertise spans company formation, team building, product assessment, regulatory compliance, and commercialization.
Dedicated to innovation, Nannon leads Crescent Edge, LLC, providing expert bioscience and entrepreneurship consulting. Having served six years on the Desert Angels (Tucson) Board and as a current Arizona Tech Investor (ATI) member, she possesses a deep understanding of the investor perspective, vital for preparing companies for successful capital raises.
Jack Roosa
Co-Founder, Partner
With a rich background spanning over four decades, Jack brings a wealth of experience from both military and corporate leadership roles in fast-paced environments. As a business leader at Raytheon, Jack held significant profit and loss (P&L) responsibilities while leading several complex defense related programs. Notably, he served as the Program Director for the AIM-9X portfolio Air-to-Air missile program, overseeing all facets of the program – leading and managing a team of 500 professionals while generating annual revenues exceeding $500 million. Jack has substantial experience in the US government’s procurement process, including Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) based contracting, International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR), and Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) / Foreign Military Sales (FMS). Jack also taught multiple classes on program management and business execution to the up-and-coming cadre at Raytheon.
